"We just wanted to write a heartfelt review for painter, decorator and all around good guy John Charles. John came to us recommended, but we'd had similar recommendations for other decorators previously, and always felt let down. Our previous experiences were of shoddy work, poor timekeeping, high costs and loads and loads of mess!
John helped us to make those bad experiences a distant, paint-flecked memory. He came around to give us a quote the day after we contacted him, was courteous throughout, and extremely easy to talk to. John was always bang on time, worked long days, stuck to his quote, achieved what we think are absolutely stunning results and, perhaps most amazingly, left our house immaculate every day! He was also incredibly swift in coming back to do the final snags - in our experience, it's always so hard to get decorators to come back and finish the last tiny bits - and has also been great in recommending other tradespeople of a similar standard.
