Martin Baylis has a vast wealth of experience in the field of miniature marine steam engine design and manufacture largely gained through working with Marten Howes and Baylis for many years. Before becoming involved with steam Martin was an engineer by profession so is able to bring new thinking and innovation to the world of model steam. His range of products have been inspired by the "real thing" so they resemble as much as is practical the engines and boilers of the age. He continues to develop new products in this field and holds true to his philosophy of making them look "right".
