About Us The Warnborough University Alliance (WUA) is a consortium of colleges and universities around the word offering courses and qualifications through onsite study or by Distance Learning. Warnborough College (UK) is accredited by ASIC as a 'Premier Institution' . It is an independent British College for Adult Education based in the historic university city of Canterbury. It was founded in Oxford in 1973. It has a solid academic record, with high success rates in official examinations, and in having its students accepted by top universities in the UK and abroad. The Warnborough Intensive School of English (WISE) is accredited by the British Council. Options for Mature Adults: Competency-Based Learning and Degrees. Through Dr Brenden Education Solutions (DBES) www.drbrenden.co.uk mature adults are able to be assessed for their prior learning, career skills and achievements in order to obtain an academic qualification. Using the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) 8 level indicators, a pathway is possible that mature adults will find rewarding and beneficial to their career needs and status. Mature Adults do not have to 'go back to college' to learn what they already know. A door is open for them at many universities, and through 'top-up' their expectations can be fulfilled.
