I'm living in America now and was researching my old address from the East end of London in 1960. My English name is Allan William Oldfield Oldfield. I used to live upstairs at 247 cann hall road. I'm 75 now and I flunked out of English school and went to work and Neville's bakery up the street. I lived with my grandm. he was from Pakistan his name was Tedother at 247 cann hall road and she also worked in the kitchen at Neville's bakery. After working for 2 weeks in the bakery at the age of around 12 or 13. I was sent out of the country because my mother abandoned me under the rules. Long story from there. My friend owned the fish and chip shop up by the park. He was from Pakistan his name was Ted. I didn't know if anyone was interested in the past of cann hall Rd. Downstairs was a candy shop at the time.
