Round Wood of Mayfield Round Wood of Mayfield consists of three strands: 'Quality Oak & Decking Products,' 'Oak Framed Buildings' and 'Home & Garden Features.'

All operate from one facility and share a common belief in the traditional crafting of premium materials.

Our Quality Oak & Decking Products differ from the standard fare available at standard timber merchants. We only offer high end solid and engineered flooring and hardwood decking. For more information see the dedicated section below.

The Oak Framed Buildings we supply include garages, extensions, pool houses, home offices and conservatories. Again, more information is supplied below.

Our Home & Garden Features are ideal for adding a high-end touch to a wide variety of projects. For that classical edge we offer a range of benches, urns and lamp posts, all traditionally hand cast in iron. If, however, you are looking for something more eclectic, we are constantly developing giant features sculpted in more contemporary materials.

We also hold large stocks of planters crafted in innovative materials, such as the extremely environmentally friendly fibreclay. Models include Chelsea boxes, troughs and cylinders, as well as giant containers.

All of our products can be delivered nationwide.

Quality Oak & Decking Products The timber products we supply underline our commitment to quality.

All flooring is produced from high grade European Oak, whether offered as a solid board or in engineered form for use with under floor heating. A range of finishes are available to allow the matching of an existing look.

Complimentary products include skirtings, architraves and mouldings, as well as the doors and windows manufactured in our joinery division. All can be produced on a bespoke basis.

In addition to oak, our decking is offered in Ipe, Balau and Massaranduba. These are all species of hard wood, ensuring durability and resilience. We do also supply softwood decking cut from Cedar, as its natural oils provide it with a similar level of resistance to insect and fungal attacks similar to that found in its denser cousins.

Oak Framed Buildings We supply a wide variety of traditionally crafted oak framed buildings. Whilst typical developments include garages, garden offices, conservatories, pergolas, annexes and extensions, our experienced staff are able to cater for any requirement.

Every building is traditionally crafted to a very high specification. In order to ensure quality and ease of build, oak pegged mortise and tenon joints are perfectly cut and each frame is pre-assembled before it leaves the workshop.

Once on site the structure can then be put together by either Round Wood of Mayfield's fitters, or your own team. Over time the frame will continually tighten as the green oak contracts, ensuring even further stability.

Specialist Services Our Oak Framed Building strand offers a plan drawing service & assistance with the planning application process. A range of buildings are also offered in kit form should you wish to build onsite yourself. Given our highly skilled mill and joinery staff, we can tailor many of our 'Quality Oak & Decking Products' to your specific requirements. We also offer samples. As with all of our products, our 'Home & Garden Features' can be shipped nationwide.
