ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH SERVICE

I have been a long term loyal customer with Evelina Dry cleaners for nearly seven years, and never expected to be treated so badly. Until now. I took three pairs of trousers for alterations (Saturday 22nd August 2020). I informed the man behind the counter that it was imperative that they were ready in a weeks time as I would be going away and taking them with me. He assured me that this was not a problem and that they would be ready for me in a weeks time. He then informed me of their new policy where payment had to be made in advance of any alterations or work done. I looked behind the counter and saw a laminated sign confirming this fact. I paid him in advance, gave him my new telephone contact number and went on my way. A week later (Saturday 29th August 2020) I arrived to collect my trousers and was met by the same man who had served me 7 days previous.
