About Us
Nestled in the North Kent downs and surrounded by picturesque woodland lies the beating heart of British karting and following the recent redevelopment by the late John Surtees CBE, it is put simply, one of the most stunning motorsport locations in the United Kingdom.
Buckmore Park has been making pulses race for over fifty years. Since its launch in 1963, it has become the breeding ground for many young drivers, eager to cut their teeth before moving on to different types of motorsport, this list includes Triple F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button.
But aside from being a bona fide, blue-blooded race circuit, Buckmore has something to offer everyone, no experience necessary. Whether it's for that first taste of Motorsport or just another box checked on the bucket list, thousands of adults and children flood to the circuit each year to experience the twist, turns and adrenaline rush of driving on hallowed tarmac.

"" I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening here. The facilities are excellent- lockers, catering, and the provision of balaclavas & rib protectors is a nice touch. The pre-race briefing was informative and the karts were quick. Having timing screens visible to the drivers on track is useful. I expect that the rules for Driving Standards were being relaxed because of the heavy rain during my visit, but the marshalling was first rate.
Karting as a hobby isn't cheap, and I was previously under the impression that Buckmore Park was an expensive place to do it. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it really is comparable to other circuits, and with all the facilities onsite, it becomes better value than elsewhere.
I look forward to my next visit, and will recommend to others ""

"" Buckmore Park is definitely one of my favourite kart racing circuits in the UK because it is really good and one of the very best! Amazing track which is simply breath taking because of the uphill and downhill nature of the circuit! The facilities are excellent and the staff are nice and friendly and the latest Sodi RT8 karts are very good too! ""

"" Booked a practise session for a mate and me; was good value given the standard of the track, and all aspects of the experience from arrival, registration and equipment issue were excellent. Given it was 'just' a practise session, the briefing was the best I've seen - not just a simple video, but a well delivered presentation.
Pair all the above with the fact this is one of the best tracks in the country and it makes for an excellent experience!
Returning for an endurance race next month - can't wait! ""

"" An excellent facility. The staff are friendly, diligent and patient with any daft requests. The track is top notch, challenging, technical in places and definitely rewards the brave. The kart wear was clean and hygienic, rib protectors an added bonus. The karts are fast, benign but will bite you if mishandled and rightly so.
I rely on public transport and there are plenty of trains to Chatham and then a 101 bus plus a walk to the circuit. Perfectly acceptable.
One word synopsis, faultless. ""

"" It all started back in July with my brother in laws, we booked the 45 min endurance race, that was my first time karting, loved it and have since completed more 45 events, practices and now the F1 challenge. It's a great circuit, every event is fantastically organised and the staff are first class. Couldn't recommend the place highly enough . ""
