Mr and Mrs Chris and Paul Martin

Hello, we have just returned from our six day break to Shanklin Beach Hotel, Shanklin, Isle of White. We had a very nice time, our coach driver was very good, polite, helpful and took us to some lovely places. Now the downside. The hotel was awful, we didn't expect a five star hotel but one that wasn't falling to bits, dated and really poor accommodation (took pictures). The staff (well most of them) were helpful. Having our meals was like being at school and the food wasn't that brilliant so didn't eat any evening meals there. Farleigh should re-think using this hotel again. We are not the only ones who had a problem most of the guests didn't like it. We left a report at the hotel but never asked for a different room as apparently they were all the same. If you wanted a sea view it was an extra £60 for two people for he six nights. Their web page was very misleading as it didn't reflex anything like what the hotel really is.
