I am a UKCP registered and accredited Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with six years clinical experience, having worked in both NHS mental health services and private practice settings with groups and individuals. My diverse experience in a wide range of settings has enabled me to work with people from all walks of life, with unique backgrounds, experiences and difficulties.

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is a specific type of psychotherapy that focuses on exploring the internal mind collaboratively with the psychotherapist. This model of psychotherapy allows you to explore the root cause of your current difficulties and symptoms, and think about the meaning this has for you. Identifying and making links between your past and present experiences, we can identify repeating patterns of behaviour, and address those which you would like to change.

Having the opportunity to think about the impact of difficult experiences can allow you to process painful feelings that you may have struggled to manage previously. I provide a supportive space in which these difficult experiences can be thought about and worked through.

I provide psychotherapy and counselling sessions to individuals on a short-term or long-term basis. Sessions are tailored to the individual and the length of therapy is flexible, based on your needs. I am based in Medway, and have a quiet consulting room that offers a private and discreet environment for you to explore your difficulties.
