The website grew out of the popular blogs on boilers and heating written by founder Jo Alsop. Overtime her open & honest guidance attracted a national audience & in 2018 she launched The Heating Hub website.

She explains "Buying a new boiler is not fun. We don't want to do it, but we don't want to make a mistake either because it is expensive. So we have to engage with a topic that difficult to understand.
