Personally crafted dentures and denture repair by Caroline Persaud, BSc, CDT My name is Caroline Persaud, I am a qualified Clinical Dental Technician (CDT) who is registered with and governed by the General Dental Council.

CPP denture Studio has now been established for four years. Prior to the launch of my clinic, I trained with a fellow CDT having previously achieved a BSc honours degree in Dental Technology. Ultimately, I have ten years experience and knowledge of dental appliances.

Over the last four years CPP Denture Studio has worked in conjunction with many Dental Surgeries in both North London and Buckinghamshire. Accordingly, my patients have a choice of locations to be treated.

Currently, I consult in three dental surgeries.

Should my patients require any other dental treatment, beyond my scope, I have dentists on hand ready to examine and advise you of your options.

Alongside my surgery based work, The CPP dental laboratory is based in North London where immediate work, such as denture repairs, can be undertaken.

I am happy to offer my patients a home visiting service. This is often of choice for those who may have difficulty getting to one of my surgeries. The home visit service is available within the Borough of Enfield and South Buckinghamshire plus parts of West London at no cost. Should you live outside these areas then a small charge will be incurred depending upon travel distance.

What is a CDT? A Clinical Dental Technician is an individual who deals specifically with denture construction. Previously known as Dental technicians or Mechanics, CDT's are a recent addition to the Dental Team.

CDT's can undertake every step in the construction of a denture from the first impression through to the final adjustments. For patients who have lost all their existing natural teeth, this service is ideal as you will receive a one-to-one service with the person who will construct and manufacture your denture.

For those patients who have retained some of their natural teeth (partial denture wearers), a signed prescription from your dentist will be required. Alternatively this can be arranged with via one of the number of dentists that I work with. This requirement is to clinically justify that the remaining teeth and vital whilst fit to withstand a replacement partial denture.
